Hop on a bus

Nottingham City Transport (NCT) runs a wide range of services into and around the city. The main hubs for City Transport buses are in Old Market Square, Parliament Street and Milton Street beside the Victoria Centre. Jump on a tram

Travelling as far as Hucknall, and serving five park and ride car parks, the NET trams provide an easy way to get across Nottingham. www.thetram.net

Catch a train

East Midlands Trains' Christmas timetable launches 14 December. There'll be an extra five services running from Nottingham. You’ll have an hourly service to Derby to complement the existing service run by crosscountry trains.  A new service to and from Matlock.  And if you live along the Robin Hood Line you’ll be pleased to hear that a Sunday service will begin on this date too.

The Robin Hood line, operated by East Midlands Trains, provides a link between Worksop in the north of Nottinghamshire and Nottingham in the south via Mansfield. Mansfield Train Station is a five minute walk from the town centre. Timetable information is available on www.eastmidlandstrains.co.uk
