The festive trail begins in front of the craft centre and takes you on a Christmas journey through the park. Follow it correctly, and it will lead you to the Mill Teashop at Rufford Mill! The rhymes will help you to find eight Christmas items hidden in the park. Complete the trail leaflet and hand it in at the Mill Teashop to collect your festive gift. Winter Archaeology Walk

National Tree Dressing Day

Today is the highlight of Sherwood’s Christmas calendar as we invite you to join in the ancient custom of tree dressing.  Tree dressing workshops to make flags, mobiles etc, take place at 11am-12.30pm and 2pm-4pm.

The big switch on is at 4.15pm. Gather round as dusk falls and listen to a seasonal tale or two with Gordon the Toad. Admire the newly dressed tree as the lights are switched on and Santa makes an appearance.
